Day Camp is a Jesus-centered, outdoor, recreation-driven camp experience for kids 6 to 13 years old (must have completed 1st grade) in central Alabama. Campers will get to experience a variety of outdoor recreation activities, team-building games, Bible study and more, all facilitated by trained Shocco Springs Staff.
Campers are divided into groups called ‘Trek Teams’ by age and gender. Trek Teams are led and supervised by three Trek Leaders (also known as Camp Counselors!) Leaders are responsible, Jesus loving, energetic young adults that have a desire to love and serve God and others, including your kids at Day Camp! Camp Leadership Staff have worked throughout the year planning for camp and ensure campers and camp staff are safe and have fun at Day Camp! All Camp Staff go through extensive training and background check processes yearly. A Registered Nurse is also a member of our Camp Leadership Staff.
Day Camp is from 8:00am – 4:00pm daily Monday – Thursday. Activities begin at 8:15am so we ask that campers arrive by then. Camper drop-off is open at 7:45am and we ask that all campers are picked up by 4:30pm. Friday pick-up will be at 1:00pm. No overnight lodging provided. No off-site transportation is available for Shocco Day Camp.
Camp Activities include:
- Putt-Putt Golf
- Aqua Park
- Wet Willie Slide
- High Ropes Course
- Bazooka Ball
- Gaga Ball
- Arts & Crafts
We believe a part of camp includes exploring faith and having the space to learn more about God in His Creation. Each day campers will experience worship through songs, a short message and Bible Study in their Trek Teams.
Day Camp is $150 per camper. This includes 5 days of camp, all recreation fees, lunch, 1 snack each day and a T-shirt. Campers will visit The Station (camp store) one day during rotations. If they would like to purchase any souvenirs or other snacks please provide spending money. We offer a sibling discount – email email@example.com for the promo code!
Scholarships are available. Please do not let finances be the reason your kid doesn’t come to camp!
