We believe camp has the power to change lives forever! God has been using Camp Happy Days to change lives for the past 35+ years for campers and volunteers alike. Camp Happy Days began through a donation from the Horn Estate in 1987 with the instruction to create a camp for kids who otherwise would not be able to attend a camp experience. Through the years, camp has changed and adapted to the times and needs of the kids but what has remained the same is that kids are loved, they learn about Jesus Christ, and just have fun!
Camp Happy Days is an overnight camp for kids ages 9-13 who are currently involved with DHR, have had involvement with DHR or would not be able to have a camp experience otherwise. Thanks to Shocco Springs and generous Christians world-wide the cost of camp is FREE.

Campers are divided into Cabins by age and gender. Cabins are led and supervised by three to four Cabin Leaders (also known as Camp Counselors!) Leaders are responsible, Jesus loving, energetic young adults that have a desire to love and serve God and others, including your kids at Camp Happy Days! Camp Leadership Staff have worked throughout the year planning for camp and ensure campers and camp staff are safe and have fun at Camp Happy Days! All Camp Staff go through extensive training, background checks and complete MinistrySafe training. A Registered Nurse is also a member of our Camp Leadership Staff.

Focus
We believe a BIG part of camp includes exploring faith and having the space to learn more about God in His Creation. Each day campers will experience worship through songs, a message from our Camp Pastor and participate in a Bible Study with their Cabin.
