Resident Summer Staff is a vibrant community of college students and young adults who come together to live, work, and grow in faith. RSS is an integral part of Shocco Springs’ Ministry. Without it, we would not be able to serve over 20,000 guests each summer. Our main mission is that each and every one of our RSS members work hard, grow together in community, and become grounded in their identity in Christ alone.
SERVE
Resident Summer Staff are graduating high school seniors and college-age young adults who live on Shocco’s campus. RSS work in the following departments: • Event Services / AV • Food Service: Cooks, Dining Staff • Guest Relations: Retail, Barista, Guest Experience • Programming: Adventure Rec, Lifeguard • Lodging Services • Grounds Resident Summer Staff are paid an hourly rate between $10-$12. RSS will also receive meals, lodging and programming such as Bible Study, worship, and group events!
MISSIONS
Missions are a BIG part of who we are and what we believe in. All staff will have the opportunity to participate in local and global missions through the summer. Additional missions include weekly worship and fellowship, bible studies, and serving guests from around the world. We pray that every Resident Summer Staff grows more confident in their relationship with Christ while serving!
COMMUNITY
One of the best parts about RSS is the Shocco community! With living on campus, staff will be able to build life-long relationships while enjoying the amazing amenities Shocco has to offer. RSS members reside at Twin Lodge, a living space within the heart of Shocco’s campus. There are 2 identical halls with common rooms, laundry facilities and central common rooms connecting the halls.
